Our Mission Statement

As a gathering of Christians, the members of St. John's desire to glorify God by serving all people in the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, administering the Means of Grace in Word and Sacrament and building the Kingdom of God as commanded by our Lord Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20).

To achieve our mission, under God's grace and guidance, we shall strive:

To proclaim the law and the gospel, to lead sinners to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all their sins, life and salvation (2 Timothy 4:2; Luke 2446-48).
To strengthen believers in faith and sanctification through the means of grace, the application of God's Word and Christian education (Romans 10:17).
To equip believers as disciples, stewards and witnesses to joyfully carry on energetic mission activities and assist in building the Kingdom of God throughout the world by sharing the gospel of Jesus (Ephesians 4:11,12).
