From the Executive Director, Robert Littke, Ph.D.

Albert Einstein wrote "I never think of the future... it comes soon enough". As we enter into 1997 and our 37th year of serving the elderly of Southwest Michigan, we can see that the future is upon us.

Everywhere in America, organizations just like ours are overwhelmed by the drastic changes being brought about by Managed Care, increasing demands for services and diminishing funding to pay for care.

Unlike Albert Einstein, we have thought about the future. Through hundreds of hours of strategic planning we have positioned our agency to weather the storms of change.

I'm pleased to say that while the structure of our organization faces the winds of change, we can be assured that we have done everything possible to prepare a strong foundation.

Now, more than ever, Southwest Michigan needs Senior Services, and Senior Services is committed to doing whatever it takes to meet that need.
