Our region is fortunate to have a competitive Automotive and Metal Fabrication cluster. This cluster has been adapting to global competition by focusing on higher value-added production. However, in order to grow in this region, this cluster will need access to a more skilled workforce and a business climate that enables them to expand locally, rather than growing elsewhere.
