Regional EDGE is about continuous action, to make our economy sustainably competitive. Economic plans are only as good as the people implementing them. For this reason, a major concern of Regional EDGE since its inception has been how to sustain action once this first phase of activity has been completed. At the same time, leaders have designed an institutional mechanism to provide a vehicle for implementation and keep Regional EDGE alive and on track. Six fundamental requirements will set the stage for continued action.
